Cubans have made their mark on both early and contemporary jazz, with bands traveling from New Orleans to Havana to play since 1916. Cuba, Through Your lens
Challenge yourself to capture the complexity of Cuba through your unique lens. Meet the Cuban photography community and exchange your work while a young professional photographer takes you through history. This tour aims to build connections with people rather than focus just on the camera and subject.
Salsa, Salsita
Not many know how deep the roots of salsa dancing in Cuba are planted in the culture. By day, you’ll study the steps one-on-one with your instructor in the studio while exploring the historic city and region in between sessions. Once the sun goes down, you’ll take your new talents to Cuba’s most vital dance clubs and salsa far into the Havana nights.
